1. Do you
like to stay in your PJ's, or dress up for Christmas? If I'm not going anywhere, I'm usually in my PJ's all day.
2. If you
could only buy one person a present this year who would it be? Um, now that's a hard one, considering that I've already been doing my Christmas shopping a little early this year. This way I'm not those last minute shoppers scrabbling to look for a gift for someone. I started my Christmas shopping last month in October and I've been adding to the gifts that I already have bought little by little for my family and my boyfriend's family.
3. Do you
open your presents Christmas Eve or Christmas Morning? My Mom has always had this tradition of letting me and my siblings open one gift on Christmas Eve and leave the rest for the next day. She always gave us one gift that one of our relatives gave us to open up on Christmas Eve.
4. Have
you ever built a Gingerbread house? Unfortunately, I never had the experience to built a Gingerbread house. I guess its was always that I was ever to interested in doing one. Who knows what the reason was as to why I never built one when I was a kid. But, I will look forward to building one with my kids though.
5. What
do you like to do on your Christmas break? Just relax and surf the net.
6. Favorite
Christmas meal or treat? My Mom makes every year for Thanksgiving and Christmas Kidney Bean Salad and Lima Bean Salad.
7. What's
your favorite holiday movie? How The Grinch Stole Christmas (The Movie) with Jim Carey. Jack Frost (The Movie) with Kelly Preston and Michael Keaton.
8. Candy
Canes or Gingerbread Men? Candy Canes! I've never tried Gingerbread Men. However, I've always been in love with Peppermint Bark. I could eat it for days, if you'd let me lol.
9. Have
you ever made a Snowman? Yes I have made a snowman. I was 15 going on 16 when my family and I vacationed up in the mountains where my older brother and uncle worked at a ski log called, "Mountain High." I went up there all the time just to bug them when I got nothing better to do.
10. Which
do you like better, Christmas Eve or Christmas Day? I like Christmas Day much better then Christmas Eve, mainly because everybody is gathered around the Christmas tree just to open up gifts.

12. When do you start getting excited about Christmas? Usually at the beginning of December, that's when you bust out with all of the holiday decorations.
13. Do you still have advent calendars? To be honest, I never had one.

15. Do you have any funny Christmas memories? Not that I can remember.
16. Talk us through your typical Christmas Day? Well, we all wake up, open gifts, help my Mom with dinner. That's pretty much it.
17. What do you eat for Christmas Dinner? We usually have Ham and a few other yummy dishes.
18. Do you have any Christmas traditions? Well, my Mom usually takes us driving around the neighborhood to see all of the Christmas decorations outside of people's houses.

21. Real or fake Christmas tree? Fake to be honest, I would love to have a really Christmas tree but they are fire hazards.

Yams, honestly, I just don't like it. 8. What weird or quirky thanksgiving traditions does your family have? Honestly, we really don't have any. I'm not sure if this is one but usually the women cook while the men just sit on their asses and do nothing to help us. When I do have kids, I'm going to have them help me out, they aren't going to be lazy on the holidays while their Mother cooks them a big meal. 9. Where will you celebrate thanksgiving this year? At my boyfriend's house with his family. My Dad had a huge bitch fit about this because my boyfriend's Mother invited all of us over and he had a cow. If he didn't want to go, all he could of said was, "NO" rather than being a fucking drama queen and saying shit that he really shouldn't have said. 10. What are you most thankful for? I'm thankful for my Mom, my siblings, my dog Dakota and my boyfriend Michael,
The word Mandala (pronunciation mon- dah- lah) means "circle". A Mandala represents wholeness, a cosmic diagram reminding us of our relation to infinity, extending beyond and within our bodies and minds.
The mandala appears to us in all aspects of life, the Earth, the Sun, the Moon and more obviously the circles of life encompassing friends, family and communities.
Mandalas are circular designs symbolizing the notion that life is never ending. Many mandalas have spiritual significance to an individual or group of individuals. The Hindus were one of the first people to use a mandala as a spiritual tool, but the mandalas most individuals are familiar with, are ones made by Buddhists.
Mandalas are used for meditation purposes allowing the individual meditating to become one with the universe. There are not many who are able to achieve this state of mind from just studying a mandala. The symbolism behind the creation of a mandala can have significant meaning for many individuals whether they are Jewish, Buddhist, Christian, Pagan or of any other religious orientation.
Mandalas can be created by individuals to symbolize their journeys through life. Mandalas can also tell a story of where an individual has been. In some cases they will reveal the individual's path in life. Groups can create mandalas that will reveal what they should be doing in order to grow and develop as a group.
How to use a mandala
There are many uses for a mandala. The design of the mandala is supposed to be visually appealing so as to absorb the mind in such a way that irritating thoughts are unable to get through and a spiritual essence surrounds the individual observing the mandala, which in turn allows the individual a higher consciousness or awareness, almost as though being hypnotized. This allows the busy mind to take a break while the creative mind is allowed to run free.
Having said that, the mandala is primarily used as a form of meditation to gain knowledge from within.
Select a mandala that appeals to you. You should know the meaning of the mandala you have chosen or set your own meaning before using it for meditation.
Once the intention has been set, you can begin focussing on the mandala. Allow yourself to take in the lovely designs, allow your mind to wander. Just like watching a candle flame in candle therapy, if your mind starts to think about the usual mundane things, simply bring your focus and attention back to the beauty of the mandala. Let the mandala absorb all your attention, by falling into it and gazing into the colours, swim in its patterns. As you begin to fall into the mandala, you will experience a feeling of lightness and intuitive thoughts may arise. Relax, let thoughts and feelings come to you. Float with it. If you begin to feel panic, feel lost, uncomfortable or if you start thinking about those "mundane" things again, just relax and refocus your attention back to the mandala.
Everyone experiences different feelings. But if you have a relaxed demeanour whilst focussed on the mandala you have obviously achieved what was intended. You should come away with clarity of the intention you or the particular mandala set before the meditation.
Creating a mandala
The internet has a wealth of mandalas and their meanings. Many sites have mandalas ready for colouring as a free copy or download. It is always best to select colours intuitively. RED for strength, high energy and passion
PINK for love, intuition and the feminine
ORANGE for creativity, transformation, self-awareness and intuition
YELLOW for learning, wisdom, laughter and happiness

Find below point by point instructions for this creation:
1. Have some coloured pastels or crayons ready. You might also want to play some relaxing music to set the tone.
2. Set your intention, such as becoming more psychic or having a loving relationship with your partner. Contemplate it for as long as is comfortable, considering how good you'll feel when it happens.
3. Once you're settled in mind and body, focus on the colours you feel are helpful for your purpose, and get them ready. (See above)
4. Focus on your intention as you begin to draw. It might help to repeat the words that express your intention as you do so.
5. Let the drawing flow as it connects you to the creative source, as though it has a life of its own. You may feel inspired to use certain shapes, words or symbols as the basis for your manifestation mandala, or just let it evolve.
6. Continue to draw, focusing only on your intention and how you'll feel as you ultimately achieve your goal. Stop drawing if you become distracted by other thoughts or you notice the energy falling away. Give yourself a moment and take a few deep, relaxing breaths. When the energy connection returns, continue drawing.
7. Mandalas should be allowed to emerge effortlessly, with enjoyment and creativity. Leave any judgement to one side and let your mandala develop, however long it takes.
8. Look at the mandala and feel its energy. It will be alive with the intention you made at the start. When you contemplate the drawing, you may notice elements you didn't see while creating it. This confirms you were in right-brain, intuitive activity - always a good sign. The meaning of these elements will come to you in time through contemplation, and offten in surprising ways.
9. Once you've created your mandala, put it somewhere you'll see it every day - on the wall, or as a screen saver on your phone, computer or laptop - so that it can work its powerful magic on your life.
Removing myself from time and space and what do I get? A lot of unanswered questions in the existence of man kind. But what does it really mean? Sacrificing everything you know and love and for what? Just to make others happy? The real question here is... Why?
Why do we need to make other's happy, when we need to work on yourselves first? But that's just me, a girl behind a computer telling the whole world what I think.
But yet, going into a man's job field is frown on. Why? Don't they think that women can do it better or are they just being racist Piaget's? The world may never know but maybe the universe just might know.
What is Redemption? "The action of saving or being saved from sin, error, or evil. The action of regaining or gaining possession of something in exchange for payment, or clearing a debt."
Everybody needs a little Redemption in their lives. But its how you tend to use it for the better or just down right evil. Like: Mob, Mafia, Cartels, etc...
If there was no Redemption, what kind of world would we live in? Peace and Serenity? Is there really such a thing? With the world now and the crime rates, who knows.
What kind of world do we live in now? Doesn't matter where we turn around, there will always be democracy in every corner. People criticizing every little thing you do and for what? I guess, let there be Redemption. Right? My guess is as good as your own.
But how far can Redemption will go if nobody wants to reap what they sew?

Hello World! Happy Halloween! Its your girl Chira here and welcome to Season 2 Episode 1 of The Chira Project. Finally, we have launched from what seems liked months of hiatus.
Sadly, Richard Zom has left The Chira Project family, due to personal reasons. So that has left me with no Co-Host in the mean time.
But here's your Re-Cap of The Week: On our last show, we talked about none other than, Alice in Wonderland. Oh my god, did we have a blast talking about that. Because, seriously the dude must have been on all kinds of drugs to come up with a story like that and not to mention his unhealthy relationship with the little girl Alice who inspired the author. Can we say pedophile? Next week, has yet to be decided. But as soon as we know, you will know.

To kick things off, I wanted to talk to you guys about, Halloween: History & Origins. So, let's get started!
What is the origin of 'Halloween'?
Since Halloween itself originated in paganism, it is not surprising that its customs are related to pagan belief. According to the Encyclopaedia Britannica, In ancient Britain and Ireland, the Celtic Festival of Samhain was observed on October 31, at the end of summer…. The souls of the dead were supposed to revisit their homes on this day and the autumnal festival acquired sinister significance, with ghosts, witches, goblins, black cats, fairies and demons of all kinds said to be roaming about. It was the time to placate the supernatural powers controlling the processes of nature. In addition, Halloween was thought to be the most favorable time for divinations concerning marriage, luck, health, and death. It was the only day on which the help of the devil was invoked for such purposes. The Pagan Roots of Halloween What are other names for Halloween?

1. All Hallows Eve
2. All Saints' Day
3. All Souls' Day

How Did Halloween Get Its Name?
-The Celtic holiday Samhain was adopted by Christians and turned into a christian holiday.
-Samhain was celebrated the day before All Saints Day (November 2nd).
-Samhain became "All Saints Evening"
-All Saints Evening became "All Saints Even"
-All Saints Even became "All Saints Eve"
-Then the Christians changed All Saints Day to "All Hallows Day" to commemorate christian souls.
-"All Saints Eve" became "All Hallows Eve", which then was shortened to "hallows eve" then to "Halloween"!
The word Halloween is first attested in the 16th century and represents a Scottish variant of the fuller All-Hallows-Even ("evening"), that is, the night before All Hallows Day. Although the phrase All Hallows is found in Old English (ealra hālgena mæssedæg, mass-day of all saints), All-Hallows-Even is itself not attested until 1556.
When did Halloween started?
Halloween started with the Celts in what is now Ireland around like 2,000 years ago. The Celts celebrated the end of the harvest and the beginning of the days getting shorter and the nights getting longer these long, dark nights made people think about death, as they do today.
Where did the custom for dressing up for Halloween?
The Celts believed that on the night of October 31st, the boundary between the living and the dead became blurred. They thought that on this night the ghost of the dead came back to Earth they would build big bonfires and dress-up in animal masks and skins to frighten away the spirits, but then, overtime, it changed into ALL HALLOWS because the church taught that you were supposed to hallow the dead.
Why did Halloween go from good to evil?
According to the Vatican, Halloween really IS evil and should be replaced with HOLYWEEN so children can dress up as saints and pray -Vatican's first conference of exorcists warned of dangers to children

The Catholic Church has called for Halloween to be scrapped and replaced with 'Holyween' - a night in which children would attend prayer vigils and dress up as saints. The Vatican's first official conference of exorcists warned of a danger to young people at Halloween when there is an increase in occult activity.
Father Aldo Buonaiuto, of the International Association of Exorcists, which met in Rome at the weekend, said that a spike in demonic possessions in October is down to the phenomenon of Halloween. The organisation's emergency number receives hundreds of calls over this period, around 40 a day, especially from parents who fear that their child has been initiated into the occult, he said.
He said: 'Many say Halloween is a simple carnival, but in fact there is nothing innocent or fun about it - it is the antechamber to something much more dangerous. 'There are always more evil rituals, animal sacrifices, desecrations of cemeteries and thefts of sacred bones at the time of the 31 October. Participating in Halloween is 'like an initiation into the occult', he said.
'For the sects it is the best time of year to recruit new members. From here the door to the devil can be opened. For this reason its necessary for us to speak out and not play down the danger.'
To replace the 'dangerous' festival the Catholic Church in Italy have now launched the initiative 'Holyween', he said.
'While most people are seeped in zombies and horror we put on our door or windows a light or an image evocative of the saints. 'And then there will be masses, prayer vigils and worship to celebrate the saints and victory of good over evil.' The conference of 300 exorcists from all over the world took place over the weekend after being officially recognised by the Vatican in June.
At the conference, Pope Francis warned them that they must treat those possessed with 'kindness'.
He wrote in a message: 'Those who perform this particular ministry, in conjunction with the bishops' must work 'with love and kindness from the church towards those who suffer because of the evil one'.
More than many of his predecessors, Pope Francis likes to insist that Satan is real and speaks frequently about the Devil's work.
Last year he was captured performing an apparent exorcism. In astonishing footage he placed his hands on the head of a boy in a wheelchair, reciting an intense prayer until the boy slumped down exhaling sharply.
